Golf Bags

Your golf bag can’t make you hit farther or get you out of the rough but it can affect how comfortable and organized you are out on the course. You’ll need some kind of bag to carry your clubs and other equipment around, but what type is right for you?

•If you’re planning on walking most of the time, you’ll likely want the lightest bag you can find that is still large enough to hold everything you need. Golf bags designed for walking are often called carry bags and they tend to be light and not have much storage space, so you may need to pack light. Carry bags often come with legs that can be extended to stand the bag upright.

•If you are going to be taking a golf cart when you golf then weight and bulk will be less of a concern. Cart bags are made with carts in mind and they generally have a lot more pockets and places to store equipment. It is generally not feasible to lug a large cart bag around on foot so many golfers keep more than one golf bag around to adapt to the situation.
